The Guilty Gear Strive beta was originally intended to go on until February 21. However, many players have reported that they haven’t really had an opportunity to try the beta due to server issues. There have been long periods of time in which the beta was unavailable when it was supposed to be playable.
To address this, Arc System Works has announced that they’ll be extending the Guilty Gear Strive beta for all players. This beta is now scheduled to end on February 23 at 6:59 a.m. PST.
Be aware that the open beta test can only be downloaded up until February 21 at 6:59 a.m. PST. If you do not download the Guilty Gear Strive beta before that time, then you’ll be unable to play the Guilty Gear Strive beta on February 22 and February 23.
Arc System Works has also noted that the beta test schedule is subject to change depending on how the servers hold up. More than likely, Arc System Works will be willing to further extend the beta if more issues arise.
The fighters that are currently playable in the Guilty Gear Strive beta are Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, May, Axl Low, Potemkin, Faust, Chipp Zanuff, Millia Rage, Zato-1, Leo Whitefang, Nagoriyuki, Giovanna and Ramlethal Valentine.
This leaves only Anji Mito and the mysterious 15th fighter. Don’t forget that Guilty Gear Strive’s final launch character is scheduled to be revealed later tonight.
Extending the Open Beta Test:
We have decided to extend the Guilty Gear -Strive- Open Beta Test two days for all participants, ending Feb. 23 at 6:59AM PST.
🚨*Please note that the Open Beta Test game data can only be downloaded until Feb. 21 at 6:59 AM PST.
